This modality uses very light touch or off the body applications to manipulate the human body’s energy fields. Our certified Reiki Master will guide you through a session that supports emotional healing, reduces anxiety/ insomnia/ depression, and promotes overall well-being. Reiki restores flow to the life force energy or Qi (CHEE). Qi travels through a series of pathways called meridians. A balanced unrestricted flow of Qi is required for the body to maintain good health, and disruptions or blockages to Qi cause disharmony in the body. Polarity therapy suggests that the human energy field is affected by internal and external inputs (including emotions, touch, sound, and movement). If biochemical reactions are hindered, the efficiency of nerve transmission and other body systems is diminished. If the blockages are removed, function can be restored. Polarity therapy addresses the electrical field of the body, attempting to balance it out to allow normal electrical activity to occur.
